Drive UP: Together co-op, pushing and car physics

Every car in a Drive UP: Together lobby is a solid object, so up to 8 players can park across a gap as a bridge, push a friend over a ledge no single car can clear, or shunt a stuck car free. The same controls can also tap a rival off the edge. Momentum is the core skill: too little and you slide back, too much and you overshoot.

How the driving works

Physics detailEffect described by the developer
BrakingWeight shifts forward
Too much throttleThe back end steps out
CrestsSuspension compresses, then unloads on the way down
Steel rampsTires can lose grip at the worst moment
FallingHeight lost is height you must climb again

Stuck upside down

Cars can get wedged between beams or inside pipes. The two options Gamevato describes are waiting for a friend to line up and push you free, or resetting the car and climbing again.

Getting a lobby going

Invite friends from inside the game (added in v0.1.1) or from the Steam friends list, pick a car color, and start. Gamevato says no driving skill is needed because the first hill teaches the basics. Controller support is listed as partial.
